Generally speaking the Daniel's fast is no meats, sweets, refined flours/sugars, dairy, white breads/rice, eggs. Use discretion when reading ingredients other than these in various foods. Hope this helps a little more.
Keep in mind; whole wheat and multi grains are okay along with soy milk.
From Bro. Randy - I'm here at work downing a mix of peanuts, almonds and sunflower seeds. Lunch will be some fruit. Last night in scripture reading I was following the history of Abraham!!! Awesome! God Bless. I luv you all!
Hi Everyone-
To further clarify, preservatives are un-natural ingredients that are added to a product to enhance the life shelf and flavor. You have to read the ingredients. If you cant pronounce it or recognize it, then it's a preservative. There are tons of vegan recipes that are great! I eat very well...an example would be breakfast:Vegan French toast;snacks:Jicama/Cucumber with lemon and all natural fruit bar;lunch:Sauteed veggies w brown rice;Dinner:Fajitas and refried beans. If you need help in finding what to eat or need recipes, e-mail me! ajcblessed@msn.com
God Bless, Janet Castellanos
